Yes we are in the middle of calving cows and the milk vat decided not to cool the milk down any more. It isn't an easy process when you are milking and you have to change vat in a day. I got in from milking at 7 p.m. last night to get the girls into bed. My DH got in for tea at 9.30 p.m and bed about 11.30 p.m. after checking a cow calving and also another one went down and couldn't get up so he was checking her at about 10 p.m. . And then started a 5 a.m again today. The cows are going to think we are going mad. They are in the shed more than in the paddock. I take 5 days to change from one milk vat to another by the time you have to disconnect wires, gas for cooling and the plumbing and then redo it for the new vat. Next week will be better(I hope).

My gosh, your not wrong with the "Crazy Week" title. Hope all is going well with the new vat and the fire is stoked when you come in late..... brrrrrrr
