I've been gardening again

I have been working a little on my Gardeners Journal quilt and I nearly have it finished.

This week has been a bit crazy here and thought it might get better soon(I hope).  This weekend we have a ski/boat race on, on the Murray River (southern 80).  There is an influx of people that are boat enthusiast but that came to an end when the race was called off before the big bangers (boats) came through.  The emergence services were call to attend the fire through out Victoria.  Im sure the boating people would understand.
Its been a very hot and windy few days here.  The power has been off on a few occasions.  I really feel for the poor people who have lost there homes and all the possessions.  Only to walk out with what they have on their backs.
Im a member/Secretary of the CFA of our area (which is only a small area) and we have had 5 call outs on one day( that is a lot for us).  I hope it cools down soon.  It was 47.c yesterday and 36.c today.
Hope to do more stitching soon.

Hi,

I have just discovered your blog through Candlelight Quilter.

I'm glad you're safe from those horrible fires.

Can you tell me more about your quilt pattern; I think I'd like to get it.

Thank you so much.
