Hitting Home town

Floods are hitting the home town I grew up in (Quambatook). My Mum still lives there at the moment. Here are some of the pictures . They had 7&1/2 inches of rain on Monday and the water flowing through from Charlton, down the Avoca River hasnt hit the town yet. Just starting to

Just near the school

the tennis courts before any rain and below is after the rain

They have been setting up levee banks on the middle on the road to keep the water away from the houses. Hope they dont blow out.

This is the bridge before the rain. Its the one of the main roads out of town
This is the water now coming under the bridge and there is still lots more to come. Stay safe Quambatook. Thinking of you all.
