The day finally arrived

The day that we all came for.  We walked into the hall and our tables were set.  A beautiful display.  Kerry Swain from Cottage on the Hill was the organiser for the weekend.  She does this every year and it a great well organised weekend.

I got to sit with some lovely ladies on the day.  Peg and Dale, very caring ladies.  They make sure you are OK and cant do enough for you.
Now this is Dory (aka Cheryl)  Now she keep us in fits of laughter all the time.  Every time I look at a photo of her it puts a smile on my face.   I laughed so much it brought tear to my eyes.  Cheryl had organise this lovely gift for us table buddies.  Her brother just whipped them up for her to give to us.  Love it and it will well used.  Thank you Cheryl.  I will have to be on your table again (wink).
This is the project we made on the day.  A gorgeous stitchery by Lynette Anderson.  Had so much fun making this.  It is a stitchery that goes on a bag but Im going to make something different with it to remind me of the great weekend I had........

Cheers Kez
